  • Not Now. I Have a Blog to Find.

This opening paragraph was very nearly a detailed explanation about my inability to track down a specific type of pen. You see, I have become quite particular about the writing utensils I use. However, upon a second reading [something I should probably make use of far more often] I filed it under the "no-other-person-on-this-planet-cares" category. Ctrl A. Backspace.

If you had seen me today, you would have picked up upon an actual skip in my step. Last nights hockey game was absolutely stomach turning. My nails are all chewed down to the finger. An abundantly overjoyed "high-five" shared by John and I nearly broke both of our hands. The Todd would have been proud. To my neighbors I apologize for the shrieks of exuberance at such a late hour. "The Shift" played by Brooks Orpik will go down as one of the greatest sports moments I have ever witnessed. Last nights game was precisely why I watch sports.

Due to a technical glitch, my firefox browser just crashed. I took this as a sign that I was out of wrapping up this xanga post. Due to technological advancements, my post was actually restored. I take this as a sign that technological advancements, from the very invention of the wheel to the light bulb, have only created more work for us all.

Anyways, I've really said nothing, but I'm out of here. I have to write up something that can be posted at EFotG tomorrow. I am also thinking I need to write an essay on Doug. Yea or Ney?

    DO IT!
    check it :

Several times throughout the series, references are made to locations in Richmond, Virginia, where creator Jim Jinkins was born and raised. These include the Moody School which Doug's sister Judy attends, analogous to Moody Middle School in Henrico County, and the Four Leaf Clover Mall, analogous to the Cloverleaf Mall in nearby Chesterfield County. Several street names from Richmond's West End are also included. As well, the Honker Burger is supposed to be a reference to Roy's Big Burger, a popular burger joint in Richmond's Lakeside area. The neighboring city of Bloatsburg is a reference to Blacksburg. Blacksburg is three hours southwest of Richmond.

pilot G-2 gel ink pens are a favorite of mine, except that they run out of ink fast.

optimal mobilty for optimal cereal eating, anywhere. nice.

can't you just get those gel stick ones in the store? i've seen them.... they are pretty cheap too. unless they have since discontinued them. remember the neon ones? i didn't like those, the point was too small and it seemed to scrape on the paper. thats why i liked the gel ink pens....they glide like a surfer riding a wave. or something. i never thought of it, but what is with those heavy expensive pens? they are always presented as gift, in nice boxes. thats the only reason why i took special care of the ones i received, making sure to use them only on special occasions. (which never happened)
on the other hand, i once had a fountain pen that i treasured, and it was heavy and in a special white cardboard box.... i actually liked that one. only for fun though... they can bleed alot. and you have to get used to using those.
